Governor Eric Greitens has appointed Stephen Grantham, of Versailles, as Associate Circuit Court Judge for the 26th Judicial Circuit, which covers Morgan County. The position became vacant through the retirement of the Honorable Kevin Schehr.
Stephen Grantham has been practicing law for 19 years with the law office of Johnson & Grantham, LLC. Grantham previously served as the attorney for the City of Versailles and the City of Laurie. He is a member of the Morgan County SB40 Board for the Developmentally Disabled and a past member of the Morgan County Library Board.
“Steve Grantham will be an exceptional judge for Morgan County because as a life-long resident, he knows the people, the area, and the issues facing the county,” said Governor Greitens.
Grantham received his law degree from the University of Missouri. He also received his bachelor of arts degree in English and Spanish Literature from the University of Missouri.
